Infant Care
Because our group is small, each infant receives personalized care and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Feeding, naps, and daily routines are based on each baby’s individual needs and schedule. I provide plenty of holding, cuddling, tummy time, and age-appropriate sensory activities to support healthy development.
I follow safe sleep practices and maintain a clean, calm, and nurturing environment for every baby. I also keep parents informed about their child’s feeding, naps, activities, and overall day so we can work together to provide the best care. My goal is for every infant to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while learning and growing at their own pace.

Toddlers are cared for in a warm, nurturing environment where they can learn, explore, and build confidence at their own pace. We provide age-appropriate activities that support language, motor skills, creativity, and early learning, along with plenty of hands-on play and opportunities for socialization. Outdoor play and a consistent nap routine are also part of their daily schedule.
We gently support each child as they develop new skills and become more independent, including during potty training. Because the group is small, I’m able to give each toddler plenty of individual attention, guidance, and encouragement. My goal is to make every child feel safe, loved, and excited to learn and discover something new each day.

Daily Schedule
Elham Daycare is open from 8:00am to 5:30 pm weekdays
8:00 - 9:00 AM - Drop offs and Welcome
Children arrive, settle in, and enjoy calm free-play activities while I welcome each child and communicate with parents.
9 AM - 9:30 AM - Outdoor Play
Breakfast, diapering/potty time, handwashing, and getting ready for the day
9:30 - 10:30 AM - Learning & Hands-On Activities
Age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, sensory play, books, music, puzzles, and activities that support language, motor, and cognitive development.
10:30 AM - 11:30 AM - Outdoor Play
Outdoor play, fresh air, movement, and opportunities to explore and socialize.
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM - Lunch & Clean Up
Lunch, handwashing, bathroom/diapering, and a calm transition to nap time. Children can have additional food if they are still hungry.
12:30 - 2:30 PM - Nap & Quiet Time
Rest and nap time based on each child’s individual needs.
2:30 - 3:00 PM - Wake Up & Afternoon Snack
Children wake up gradually, have a snack, and get ready for afternoon activities.
3:00 - 4:00 PM - Creative & Learning Activities
Stories, music, art, sensory activities, building, puzzles, and other age-appropriate activities.
4:00 - 5:00 PM - Outdoor Play & Free Play
More outdoor time when weather permits, followed by free play and social activities.
5:00 - 5:30 PM - Wind-Down & Pick-Up
A calm end to the day with quiet play, clean-up, and preparing children for pick-up. I share important updates about each child’s day with parents.
